Chair Shots!

Alison got me this awesome book (among other things) for Christmas.

It's pretty sweet. It's nice to see some theoretical analysis of wrestling, most of the stuff I read is very specific news & criticism. The more general tenets of wrestling often get overlooked on our site. The tome's already given me an idea for a column, which is always a good thing.

Speaking of chair shots, 3/25 will be ROH in NYC. Peter, Jason, and I will aggregate in Brooklyn that weekend, and among other things, go see ROH at Basketball City on 23rd street. For me, it doesn't get much better than watching pro wrestling in a place called Basketball City.

Gonna try and post more often here, as posting is fun! Speaking of fun, here's another gift Alison got me. PEACE!

1. Finally finished this semester after handing in 3 papers (20-25 pages each), one take-home exam, one presentation, and a final. Below are but a few of the books I had to return to the library.

Political Compass

It's the holidays, and you have time to do this little test, it takes about 6 minutes. The questions are a little simplistic, but the results turned out true, at least in my case: to my delight, politically I'm hangin' with Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.
