That was fun!

Ladies and gentlemen of infintedriveway. This past week has been frakking awesome. When all y'all arrived for the rehearsal on Friday my heart nearly leaped out of my chest with joy. You guys are so awesome. It was so wonderful to have you all here. We don't get photos from the photographer dude for a couple weeks, but here's a few from our great honeymoon on Washington Island.

CONGRATULATIONS CARDAVIS!!!!

Your wedding was a beautiful tribute to a beautiful relationship, and I think I may speak for all the Infinite Drivers in saying that I feel truly blessed and honored to be a part of it. One of the things I have always admired about your relationship is that you take each step in your own time, at your own pace, when it is the right step for you. There has not been a day that I have known you when you have not been together, and I have never doubted that you would always share your lives with one another. Still, as I stood with your families and friends and heard you voice that commitment that I have seen you make to each other through so many actions and moments in the past decade, I felt that deepening and broadening of which Andy spoke. Thank you for including me in your wedding, and more importantly, in your lives. You are such dear friends, and I wish you a lifetime and a half of happiness.

Oh Crap!

Less than a week until the wedding! I think it is safe to say that everyone who reads this blog will be coming (in fact I think the only people who read this blog are in the wedding party). And we cannot wait to see you! Huzzah!!

Screwed Up Again!

I posted earlier about loving the Zach Galifianakis/Bonnie Prince Billy/Kanye West video I linked to, but that was for Can't Tell Me Nothing, and not Stronger.

As it turns out, I love Stronger so much more than ...well, just about everything in the entire world, almost. Daft Punk+Kanye West+AKIRA = ??? All I can say is that Kanye plays the role of Tetsuo. This is so worth your time.

Down in Florida . . .

State Legislator Bob Allen (R) was arrested for offering an undercover police officer $20 to perform oral sex on the law enforcement official. When the anti-gay politician was asked to explain his action, he said that he was afraid of the black people in the park where he was walking in and out of the bathroom. This is the first recorded case of racisms turning someone gay.

I gotta' say, only in America, and possibly only in Florida would a politician be tone deaf enough to claim that his racism is a viable excuse for his gross behavior (looking for sex in a public bathroom), Even better is that the same guy would hate himself so much that he'd take part in passing laws that negatively affect him.

American Voices

Ask the AV Club in the Onion this week had a link to a short blurb published a few years ago on those folks who's pictures are in the "American Voices" section of the paper. I'm pretty sure I've seen that UPS guy around town.
